  • Parker Flocon A82-42 – Epr, 2-1/8 F.Sw Conn, 1-5/8 Port 102923 | Line Components

The A8 has a unique modular design that allows the commercial pressure regulator to be soldered into the line without disassembly, yet provides full access for disassembly, cleaning and servicing from the top only. Interchangeable capacity cartridges facilitate flow revisions should an undersized or oversized condition be created, while pilot adaptors can be changed out to add features or even change functions. Thus, retrofitting for additional evaporator capacity, heat reclaim, or hold back for hot gas defrost is simple and requires no pipe line revisions under most circumstances. These valves will modulate to maintain a pressure as set for in the field, in spite of fluctuations in load, changes in ambient, changes in available refrigerant flow paths, and other operating variances. Appropriately sized, these valves will modulate the flow of liquid or vapor, high side or low side in a wide variety of system arrangements used in industrial, commercial and air conditioning installations. Models are available in combinations of connection sizes, port sizes, functions and features as designated by the model code, for application in a wide variety of control functions on industrial, commercial and air conditioning systems.Three control functions are available:Inlet, Outlet, and Differential pressure control. Two control features can be added by incorporating pilot solenoids; either Electric Shut-Off(S) or Electric Bypass (B); also called Wide-Opening.The valves are an integrated assembly of four modules:1) A body, which contains no moving parts, but is ordered to suit a particular connection size;2) A capacity cartridge, which contains both piston and modulating plug, and defines the Port Size;3) A pilot adapter, which defines the valve function and onto which the Pilot Solenoids providing either the “S” or “B” feature are added as required;4) The bonnet, containing the Range Spring and adjustment screw, which mechanisms are set for the value of pressure which the valve is to maintain

  • Parker Ck4A-16 4″ Check Valve – Less Flanges And Gaskets 101054 | Industrial Valves

Parker’s CK4 check valves are designed to be close coupled to a control valve which will reduce overall installation length, complexity, and cost. These valves are designed to prevent backflow in a variety of refrigeration applications and can be mounted on a valve or as a standalone component. The CK4 can be mounted in any orientation when used as a standalone part of the refrigeration system. These compact valves are spring closing with a lapped, stainless steel or chrome plated seat for positive closing action and low leakage. A minimum pressure difference of 0.05 bar (0.75 psi) is required to hold the valve in the open position. Removable seat plate with combination O-ring and metal to metal knife edge seal allows the valve to be disassembled for maintenance. They may be ordered with male adapter rings for close-coupling to other Refrigerating Specialties valves.Markets:• Industrial Refrigeration• Commercial RefrigerationFeatures and Benefits:• UL Listed (Thru 3” Size)• May be installed in any position• Compact• Lightweight• Inline• Design Pressure (MRP): 34.5 bar (500 psi)Applications:• Re-circulating (overfeed) systems• High speed compressor discharge• Pump discharge• Suction temperatures down to -45°C (-50°F)• Hot gas lines (pan to evaporator)• Not suitable for discharge of reciprocating compressor or economizer port of screw compressor

  • Parker Solenoid Valve – S5A-50 2″ No Flanges Or Coil 100982 | Industrial Valves

Parker’s S5A is a low pressure drop gravity closing valve ideal for medium temperature suction applications. The low-pressure drop provided by the S5A ensures that losses are kept to a minimum, which is especially important in refrigeration suction lines. This heavy-duty solenoid valve is suitable for Ammonia and other refrigerants, certain oils and other fluids approved for use in refrigeration. The S5A is a pilot operated semi-steel bodied valve. The valve may be opened by means of the manual opening stem for servicing or in case of electrical power failure. The Type S5A Solenoid Valve is furnished with FPT: Internal NPT (U.S. Standard Taper Pipe Thread), Socket Weld, Weld Neck or ODS (solders over copper tubing of given diameter) connections. The valve may be easily removed from between the flanges for servicing.Markets:• Industrial Refrigeration• Commercial RefrigerationFeatures and Benefits:• Standard Coil Housing Meets NEMA 3R and NEMA 4 – Rain Tight• Coil Housing Surpasses NEMA Salt Spray Test• Plunger-Needle Assembly Same for S4A, S5A, S6N, S6A, S8F• Replaceable Piston Plug Assembly• Molded Class “F” Coil Construction• Pilot Light Available• Stainless Steel Needle• Manual Opening Stem• MOPD 20.7 bar (300 PSIG)• 27.6 bar (400 PSIG) maximum rated pressure (MRP)Application:• Refrigerant Liquid Lines• Suction Lines• NOT for Hot Gas Lines or other applications where high pressure drops will exist when valve is open.
