Ceiling cassette heat pumps
A ceiling cassette sits flush in the ceiling with only the grille showing. It pushes air out in four directions, so it heats a large open space evenly without taking any wall space. You see them in open-plan homes, offices, shops and cafes.
Right now we have 117 ceiling cassettes in stock from Daikin, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Panasonic, Gree, Hitachi and Haier. Prices start at $2,189.99 incl. GST.
What to check before you buy
- There must be ceiling space above for the unit and access for the pipes and drain.
- Compact cassettes fit a standard 600 mm ceiling grid. Full size cassettes need more room.
- Larger and commercial models may need three-phase power. The power supply filter on this page shows which.
Delivery and payment
All prices include GST. Delivery is anywhere in New Zealand and usually takes 3 to 9 working days. Pay by card or bank transfer, use Afterpay, or spread the cost interest free with Gem Visa or Q Card.
Common questions
Can I buy the unit only, for my own installer?
Yes. You can buy supply only. Your installer needs to be licensed, and keep the Certificate of Compliance for your warranty.

We arrange installation in Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, Rotorua, Wellington, Christchurch and Invercargill. Ask us about other areas.
What warranty do I get?
The manufacturer warranty applies to every unit. The length depends on the brand and model, and many heat pumps carry 5 years. Installation done by our installers has a 12-month workmanship warranty. Use a licensed installer, or the manufacturer warranty can be refused.
