A multi split system uses one outdoor unit to run two to five indoor units, each with its own remote. It suits homes where there is room outside for only one unit, such as apartments and townhouses, or where you want separate control in each bedroom. This page lists the multi split outdoor units and the matching indoor units we supply, from Daikin, Hitachi, Haier and Panasonic.

How to put a system together

• Pick the outdoor unit by how many rooms it needs to run.
• Choose an indoor unit for each room. Wall, cassette and console units can be mixed on the same outdoor unit.
• Make sure the manufacturer approves the combination. Ask us and we will confirm it before you order.

One thing to know: all rooms share the outdoor unit, so if it needs a service, every room is off at the same time.

Multi room heat pump cost

A multi room heat pump is priced in three parts: the outdoor unit, one indoor unit for each room, and the installation. The outdoor units and indoor units on this page show their own prices incl. GST, except Daikin, which is by quote. Installation depends on the pipe run to each room, so it is quoted after we see photos or a floor plan. Send us the rooms and sizes and we will price the whole system together.

Delivery and payment

All prices include GST. Delivery is anywhere in New Zealand and usually takes 3 to 9 working days. Pay by card or bank transfer, use Afterpay, or spread the cost interest free with Gem Visa or Q Card.
